June has seen freesias, hyacinth, tulips and iris out in full swing. We have also had early daffodils and some jonquils. We have also had some lovely oramental kale.
Roses have been beautiful, with the cooler temperatures bringing on larger heads and deeper colours.
Blue butterfly delphinium has been the only delphinium available. Snap dragons and stock have also been available.
We have been able to get a miniature bouvardia and molucca balm from Melbourne.
Gymea lilies started this month, along with poppies in small numbers.
There has been a wide range of imported calla lilies.
Orchids, oriental lilies, asiatic lilies, longiflorum lilies, carnations, alstromeria, chrysanthemum and sunflowers have been available. Local cymbidium orchids have started.
Sea holly, banksias (coccinea, hookerania and menziesii) have been available. Wax bud has been available but wax not yet. Pink ice proteas and queen proteas have been available.
Hypericum has been available (imported), and pepper berry has just started.
Magnolia branches have been available.
